We believe that teaching and learning extends beyond the four walls of our classroom and that our students learn from a larger community comprised of parents, guardians, teachers, friends, and family. The work we do cannot be done alone and it requires the help, guidance, and motivation of each member of our community. In order for us to grow, we will need to communicate and work together as best as possible to ensure that our students receive the best education.
We look forward to the 2014-2015 school year and to working with you and your son/daughter. This year will be both challenging and fun. Your son/daughter will learn study habits and skills, and grow as a reader, writer, and critical thinker in my class. Your student will be pushed to achieve their maximum potential through class discussions, daily reading and writing, homework assignments, essays, and activities.
The two of us will work vigorously to provide your student with an engaging curriculum that helps them develop academically and personally.
It is important that we -the home and the school - communicate frequently as that is the best way to help your son/daughter stay on track. Our goal is to help all of our students develop the necessary skills to make them successful for the rest of their academic career.

Es importante que nosotros -el hogar y la escuela – nos comuniquemos con frecuencia ya que es la mejor manera de ayudar a su hijo / a mantenerse concentrado en sus estudios. Nuestro objetivo es de ayudar a todos nuestros estudiantes para que se gradúen de la escuela secundaria y asistan a un colegio o universidad.
